At YMCA, we believe every child deserves quality care, which is why we’re here to help you navigate the childcare funding options available to eligible parents in England:
15 Hours Free for All 3- and 4-Year-Olds:
Every child aged 3 and 4 is entitled to 15 hours of free childcare each week during term time, or 570 hours spread across the year.

30 Hours Free for Working Parents:
If you’re a working parent, you could be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare per week, doubling the standard offer. This is available during term time, or you can spread the hours over the year.

15 Hours Free for Eligible 2-Year-Olds:
If your family is on a low income or your child has additional needs, you may qualify for 15 hours of free childcare per week for your 2-year-old, helping them get a head start.

Tax-Free Childcare:
For working parents, you could also benefit from Tax-Free Childcare, where the government adds £2 for every £8 you pay into an online account, up to £2,000 per child per year.

YMCA Pelsall Village Day Nursery is located inside Pelsall’s Education Development Centre and offers a homely and caring environment for children aged 0-5 years.
It has been designed and resourced for the particular age group; babies, toddlers or pre-school children. All of our rooms contain items children will come across in daily life, to encourage exploration and curiosity through play. Our nursery is fortunate to offer a beautiful outdoor space, complete with reading nook and planters for children to grow their own food.
