India’s Story – Joining the YMCA Staff Team

India, our finance assistant joined us as a trainee, having had no previous experience in finance. We hired her on potential, based on her positive attitude and confident nature. 

Since joining YMCA, India has taken hold of every opportunity presented to her, from attending national conference, supporting event planning and most recently has chosen to represent the Black Country in YMCA’s Youth Ambassador scheme – which will open up even more opportunities for growth, travel and confidence building for India.
